Designed for your eyes.

A tiny, always-on companion that stays out of your way until you need it.

Camera-based stabilization

Detects motion through your Mac's built-in webcam and counter-animates reference dots in real time using spring-damped physics.

Lives in your menu bar

No dock icon, no main window. Toggle dots, change density, switch sensitivity — all from one tiny status-bar menu.

Click-through overlay

Dots float above every app and every Space without ever intercepting clicks. You barely notice them — except when you need to.

No extra hardware.

FAQ

Quick answers to common questions.

Does MotionFix really need the camera?

Yes — Macs don't have accelerometers like iPhones do, so MotionFix uses the built-in webcam to estimate motion visually. The image is never displayed, recorded, or transmitted; only a tiny motion vector is derived in memory.

Do I need any extra device?

No. MotionFix uses only your Mac's built-in camera. There's no iPhone companion app, no Bluetooth sensor, no accessory to buy.

Will it drain my battery?

MotionFix is native AppKit with a low-resolution camera pipeline (640×480 at 20 fps) and an optional High Performance mode that further reduces CPU. Expect 1–3% extra battery use over a typical hour.
